I was in search of a camera bag that could withstand tough conditions, offer great protection for my camera, be somewhat water-resistant, comfortable to carry over my shoulder, and still be compact for hiking trips. The FOSOTO bag met all my requirements perfectly. It accommodated my Sony HX400 camera with some extra room for easy access when needed.
While there isn’t much room for extra items, I found a zippered compartment under the lid for my spare lens cap and USB cord, an open side pocket for a small water bottle, and space inside the main compartment for a spare battery and the rain cover provided by FOSOTO. Although I don’t need additional lenses for my superzoom camera, the bag could fit one if necessary.
I am particularly pleased with how comfortable the bag is to carry over my shoulder. Its compact size makes it inconspicuous, and the adjustable carrying strap is convenient with its clip attachment for easy replacement if required.
