It is a bit heavy for its compact size, but its ergonomics are very good. The end result is very professional, even surpassing those of cameras priced at 3000€ or more in some situations. The GH5 performed like a champion, with a battery life of about one hour without losing stability. To maintain this, there should always be at least 2 out of the 4 battery indicator points remaining. I highly recommend it as it lasts a long time and can be connected to a power bank. I have not connected it to the camera yet, so I am unsure of compatibility. I would need to check their website or software for that information. Overall, I recommend this purchase.

I purchased this gimbal to add a second one to my travel gear alongside my RSC 2. It has proven to be a sturdy piece of equipment capable of easily handling my setup with a Sony A7S III, 24-105 f/4 lens, and camera cage. I particularly find it more convenient to use when paired with a 35mm lens. The handle is excellent for low shots, with all the main controls conveniently located on it. Additionally, there are some extra customizable buttons on the side.

I have been using the R5 camera with a grip on this gimbal, and I’ve found that it’s a tight fit due to the limited height clearance. Even though the weight is within limits, the design constraints make it challenging to use with larger lenses. I can only balance it with a very lightweight lens like the RF 16mm f/2.8. Removing the grip to accommodate larger lenses is a hassle. Therefore, if you plan on using a gripped camera, be cautious as weight limits may still pose issues.
Despite these limitations, the gimbal itself is excellent. While it may take some time to set up initially, once balanced, it offers helpful guides for quick readjustments. However, this can be inconvenient if you frequently switch between setups, as it only accommodates one configuration. The gimbal boasts good battery life, strength, stability, and an array of useful features.
