I wanted to share my thoughts on this amazing drone that has become an essential tool for me in capturing moments from above. Let’s begin with its user-friendly design – even as a beginner, I found it incredibly easy to fly and control. The one-tap editing feature in the lightweight app is impressive, allowing for quick editing and sharing on the go. The special templates give my videos a professional touch.
One of its standout features is the advanced obstacle avoidance technology, which has proven to be a lifesaver in various environments. This allows me to focus on capturing the perfect shot without worrying about accidents. The extended battery life is another impressive aspect, offering up to 34 minutes of flight time on a single charge. This feature proved handy during a mountain hike, where the drone captured panoramic views at a leisurely pace.
The image quality is outstanding, shooting in 4K at 60 frames per second with HDR capabilities that enhance the visual appeal of my content. Whether I’m capturing landscapes or action shots, the level of detail and vibrancy in each frame is exceptional.

A very good tool, I am a professional photographer and videographer, and this drone turned out to be an excellent investment. The quality-to-price ratio is ideal, with very good image quality especially when working with Raw files. The video capability is more than sufficient for most uses. The advantage of the combo plus is the extended flight time provided by the batteries, which is great for my needs. The RC2 controller is excellent, offering good brightness for daylight flying situations and the convenience of not having to use a phone. I appreciate the option to establish a wifi connection between the drone and phone for quick material selection and download without needing the controller. The only thing missing from this combo is that DJI doesn’t include at least a couple of filters, which need to be purchased separately. Overall, this drone offers good value for the technology and image quality it provides, and its small size is a big advantage for travel, especially considering the potential regulatory issues with larger drones.

As a newcomer to drones, this is my first experience with one, and I have flown it a few times already. I find it remarkably user-friendly and packed with features that have exceeded my expectations of what drones can do. The auto tracking function, allowing the drone to follow a selected object such as a person, is a standout feature for me. Additionally, the convenience of auto take-off, return to home, and landing functions adds to the overall appeal. The standout feature, however, is the 360-degree obstacle avoidance sensors, a rarity in drones of this size. Recent firmware updates have further enhanced the experience by enabling a black and white display from the front and rear sensors on the controller screen. This feature allows for real-time monitoring of surroundings, making piloting the drone a more immersive experience. The built-in screen on the controller is a nice touch, eliminating the need for a separate phone. My only critique lies with the screen recording capability. Despite selecting the option to save recordings to the SD card, the controller saves them internally, requiring a computer connection for access. This limitation is due to the high-resolution screen recording, which exceeds the SD card’s capacity for direct storage. While a minor inconvenience, it is worth mentioning. Overall, I am highly impressed with this drone and look forward to more opportunities to fly it.

The 4k60p capability performs impressively. While I am not a professional, as a dedicated hobbyist, I find it to be highly enjoyable. I highly recommend opting for the fly more combo with the rc2 controller. Despite claims to the contrary, in my personal experience, the actual flight time hovers around 20-24 minutes, possibly due to the cold climate in my location (upstate NY). The automated features function flawlessly, producing exceptionally smooth and cinematic footage when requesting rotational shots. However, one drawback to note is that although the range is technically 20km, when the drone is flown beyond 500 meters and descends below 50 meters, it can lose connection with the remote, resulting in a disrupted live feed. The drone does not veer off course or crash in this situation, and typically regains connection upon ascending. On the positive side, the drone is lightweight, user-friendly, boasts excellent automated features, top-notch image quality, and effective obstacle sensing. Negatives include a battery life shorter than advertised, connectivity issues at longer distances and lower altitudes, and a compact bag that makes repacking all components a tight fit.

This drone is amazing and versatile, with great image quality for its size, excellent maneuverability, and above all, easy to use. It’s very reassuring to know that it has 360 sensors and will stop or avoid obstacles. I have worked on many projects with it and it’s wonderful. Good materials and extremely lightweight.

Just traded in my Mavic 2 Pro for the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo, and the difference is striking. I was seeking a more discreet and quieter option, and this drone fits the bill perfectly. It’s incredibly lightweight, akin to holding a bag of chips, and operates quietly while I’m out capturing footage.
This drone is loaded with features that impress right from the start. The 4K/60fps HDR capability ensures exceptional vertical video quality, ideal for social media content. The 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor delivers outstanding 48MP RAW images, boasting remarkable detail and vivid colors thanks to its high dynamic range.
One standout feature is its omnidirectional obstacle sensing, providing peace of mind during flights as it autonomously avoids obstacles. The RC 2 controller is a delight, equipped with a built-in screen, making smartphone usage unnecessary, especially in bright sunlight.
The Fly More Combo is a fantastic deal, including extra batteries, a charging hub, and a shoulder bag. The drone itself is a powerhouse, offering features like Night Shots for clear low-light footage, a wide-angle tilt for cinematic shots, and even a digital zoom function.
Perhaps the best aspect is its ease of use. With capabilities like ActiveTrack 360°, Waypoint Flight, and various QuickShot modes, achieving professional-level shots is effortless. Additionally, the new editing tools streamline the sharing of my work.
In conclusion, this drone is a definite win for me. It’s lightweight, quiet, feature-packed, and on par with, if not better than, my old Mavic 2 Pro. If you’re in the market for a top-notch, user-friendly drone that doesn’t attract attention, the Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo is the way to go.
