The box is compact and spacious. Made in Germany, top price and quality. While we can’t say for sure how safe documents would be in a fire or water damage situation, we are very confident. I have already purchased and gifted two more boxes.

I am not sure if the materials in the box truly withstand both fire and water, but the zipper definitely does not. The zipper is made of regular material and is not waterproofed or reinforced in any way. Additionally, if you stack your items high, the lid lifts a few centimeters, leaving only the basic zipper exposed. Consider it more like a standard storage box – not fire or waterproof.
